DESCRIPTIVE DATA
----------------
object type: Broken Bowl. White marble with grey veins, carved in sunk relief. Rectangular with deep straight sides. In the middle, there is a depression containing a shallow, oval, straight-sided bowl out of which a piece has been broken near the right end, and is shown beside the bowl. The area above the bowl is roughly chiselled away. The area in front is smooth, thus creating the illusion that the bowl is standing on a flat surface.
