Carbro process

Scope note

A carbon process to produce photographic prints in which the carbon transfer tissue is made sensitive when placed in contact with a developed silver bromide print. Distinguished from the "carbon process" by the chemical method for hardening the carbon transfer tissue and by the use of a silver bromide print, which allows carbro prints to be made from smaller negatives.
