Douters

Scope note

Scissorlike devices, usually with flat disc-shaped ends, used for pinching out a flame. For scissorlike devices with a boxlike receptacle attached to one blade, use "candle snuffers." For cone-shaped devices used to extinguish flames, use "extinguishers."
