Thronoi

Scope note

Use for Ancient Greek thrones, usually ornamented, having an elevated seat, often a high back and arms and either legs ending in animal feet, turned or rectangular legs, or with solid sides. Used by people of wealth or prominence and seen in depictions of the Greek gods.
