Dessert knives

Scope note

Knives smaller than a dinner knife intended for eating desserts; generally having a shorter handle and may have a curved and pointed blade; sometimes a part of a dessert service. Use "fruit knives" for knives with a sharp, sometimes serrated blade and often an ornamental handle used to pare and cut fruit at the table.
