Fruit knives

Scope note

Small knives with a sharp, sometimes serrated, blade used to pare and cut fruit at the table. Often with an ornamental handle and sometimes with a folding blade such as on a penknife. For other small knives with a short handle and sometimes a curved and pointed blade use "dessert knives."
