Finger knives

Scope note

African finger rings to which sharp, curving or crescent-shaped blades are attached, often with a tiny sheath to protect the wearer, used primarily as weapons, sometimes also as cutting implements. Examples with smaller than normal blades may be carried concealed in the palm of the hand.
