Holsters

Scope note

Leather or metal cases for carrying small firearms such as pistols, revolvers, or, originally, harquebuses, designed to be worn on a belt or shoulder harness or attached to a saddle. They are shaped to conform to the outlines of the firearm and are open at the top to facilitate quick withdrawl.
