Monomoy surfboats

Scope note

Double-ended surfboats, 26 feet long, with ten rowing stations, centerboard, rudder, and lug-rigged sail; designed by the United States Coast Guard in 1934, sometimes used as gigs, and named after Monomoy Island, Cape Cod, Massachusetts.
