Scope note

Use for relatively heavy, four-wheeled carriages with coachlike lower bodies and tops constructed in two sections either of which could be lowered independently; may also be used for early carriage-style automobiles with convertible driver or passenger areas, and, by extension, for later sedanlike automobiles with a short folding rear top.
