Wagonettes

Scope note

Use for four-wheeled pleasure carriages drawn by one or two horses, characterized by two longitudinal rear seats set facing each other behind the driving seat and entered through a door at the back, similar to omnibuses; designed in England in the mid-19th century and popular there and in North America later in the century.
