Scent flask. Agate ware. Staffordshire factory. Salt-glazed dark brown and off-white agateware. Circular in the shape of a snail's shell, with on one side a small screw stopper, and on the other, a projection scored with a cross which enables the bottle to be stood up with the diameter vertical. Circa 1745-1755. Rococo.
