An image of Studio Ceramics. Bowl. Spira, Rupert (British, b. 1960). Stoneware, thrown, with incised decoration through black pigment over white glaze. The interior is incised with concentric bands of calligraphic decoration, and on the exterior has similar decoration radiating from the exterior of the footring. Height (whole) 19 cm, width (whole) 46.6 cm, length: (whole) 53.6 cm, diameter (foot) 10.3 cm. Gift of Nicholas and Judith Goodison through the National Art Collections Fund.
