Studio Glass. Three-Cornered Bowl. Solven, Pauline (British, b. 1943). Three-cornered, with deep sides rising from a circular, ground flat base. The colours form an abstract design of triangles, streaks, spots, and coiling chains. Free-blown glass, with turquoise, brown, yellow, and orange colour picked up from the marver, inlaid, and etched. Height, whole, 17.2 cm, width, whole, 22.5 cm, 1992. Gift of Nicholas and Judith Goodison through the National Art Collections Fund.
