An image of Contemporary Craft. Studio glass. Vase. Buus, Marianne (British, b. 1967). Oval with deep corrugated sides rising from a narrow oval base. The mouth curves downwards slightly on the long sides. Here and there on the sides there are small holes between the coils. Coiled lead glass, probably frosted with acid on both sides, height, whole, 23.0 cm, width, rim, 22.0 cm, 2000. Given by Nicholas and Judith Goodison through the National Art Collections Fund.
