Dial: silver champlevé with blued steel hour and minute hands. Case: silver, pierced and chased with four repoussé panels from Aesop’s Fables. Interior stamped with maker’s mark incuse ‘SI IL’. Case: height 13.9 cm, diameter 12.6 cm, depth 6.1 cm, circa 1725. London.
