Lead-glazed Earthenware / Figure Group. John Brown with Slave Boy and Girl. Unidentified factory. Flat-backed figure. White earthenware moulded in three parts and pearlware glazed. Painted underglaze in cobalt blue and with black, brown, grey, green, red, pink and flesh-pink enamels, and gilt. The underside is concave and glazed. Height, whole, 34.5 cm, width, whole, 16 cm, depth, whole, 8.5 cm. Circa 1859.
