Carrara white marble, carved in the round; on grey veined marble pedestal, with black marble cartouche. A full length figure of a woman, representing 'Glory' supported on a high pedestal.
The inscription on the black marble is not the original as devised by James Brydges, first Duke of Chandos (1784-1744) which read: GLORIA MARLBURI, LAURO TUA TEMPORA CINGIT/DIVA LUBENS QUORSIUM? PAR DECUS INDE REFERT.
