Large marquise bezel decorated with an edge of pellets, containing, on a background of ivory, the figure of a woman painted standing leaning against an urn made of hair upon a pedestal decorated with small pearls, the whole scene beneath overhanging trees. Engraved on back of bezel: 'Revd Thos Neale died Mar 26 1782 Aged 48'. Height, hoop, 1.5, mm, length, hoop, 21.5 mm, length, bezel, 30.0 mm, width, bezel, 17.5 mm, width, bezel, 5.0 mm, 1782. English.
