English gold mourning ring with a woman by an urn

Above the pedestal a cherub holds a scroll inscribed: 'TO BLISS'. On the back of the bezel is the inscription: 'Garsford Gibbs Obt 25 Dec 1788 aet 15'. Height, whole, 1.25 mm, depth, whole, 1.0 mm, length, whole, 20.5 mm, height, bezel (marquise) 4.5 mm, width, bezel (marquise) 19.0 mm, length, bezel (marquise) 33.5 mm, 1788. English.
