Description

Gold and enamel. Thin, narrow hoop expanding at the shoulders. Marquise shaped bezel with enamel border, gold dots reserved in white enamel. Under glass a painting on ivory of a woman seated by an urn, which is on a pedestal bearing the inscription: 'NOT LOST BUT GONE BEFORE'. Above the pedestal a cherub holds a scroll inscribed: 'TO BLISS'. On the back of the bezel is the inscription:
