"Of this book six hundred and sixty copies only have been printed and bound ... by W. S. Cowell Ltd., of Ipswich ... The text is set in 12 pt Bembo; the decorative borders are Monotype versions of Elizabethan fleurons. The colour lithographs have been drawn on plastocowell film by John Piper and printed by W. S. Cowell Ltd. The Antique Laid paper was mould-made by T. H. Saunders, and the paper boards were hand-marbled by Douglas Cockerell & Son. Museum has copy no. 73, signed by the lithographer. Binding: quarter, green cloth, marbled paper sides, gilt fillet; gilt lettering on brown leather spine label. Top edge of pages gilt.
