Description

Whitework sampler, linen, embroidered with linen threads in double hem, faggot, eyelet hole and satin stitch. The sampler comprises six horizontal bands which depict two alphabets, one in satin stitch the other in eyelet hole stitch, an inscription in satin stitch which reads 'Grace Ware Jan 31 1667'.
