Description

Band sampler, linen, embroidered with linen thread and polychrome silks in cross, double running, satin and needle lace stitches. The sampler comprises 24 horizontal bands which include repeat border patterns,a wider pictorial band depicting the Sacrifice of Isaac, animals, birds, alphabets and the initials "DS"
