Description

Band sampler, yellow linen, embroidered with linen thread in double hem and double running stitch with button hole bars, cut and drawn work with needle weaving, needle lace stitches and hollie point. All the edges are turned under and hem stitched. The sampler is made up of horizontal bands of repeat patterns including crowned swans and a mermaid.
