Description

Whitework band sampler worked with linen thread in hem, counted satin and eyelet stitch with cut and drawn work with needle weaving and needle lace filling stitches. There is a plain selvedge at the top, the sides are hemmed and the bottom edge is buttonholed. There are whitework bands of geometric and floral motifs with three of the band containing small detached cutwork squares with various filling designs.
