Production: Unidentified
Band sampler, linen, embroidered with polychrome silks and linen thread in cross, double hem, eyelet hole, double running and satin stitches. The sampler comprises ten horizontal bands; the top three are repeat border patterns, bands four and five contain an alphabet, the initials 'EB' and the date '1708', bands six and seven have another alphabet worked in eyelet hole stitch, bands eight and nine contain an alphabet in satin stitch and finally band ten contains a repeat border pattern.
