Cotton sampler embroidered with polychrome silks in cross-stitch. It is bound to a paper backing by a pink satin ribbon. The sampler depicts a conventional, symmetrical arrangement of detached motifs, mostly stylized flower and plant pots, birds, small animals and flowers, and is framed by a stylized floral border.
