Description

White work sampler, linen, embroidered with white cotton in satin, eyelet hole, eyelet, chain, Florentine and scroll stitch with French knots and cut and drawn work with needle lace filling stitches. The side edges are cut and top and bottom are turned under and stitched. The sampler comprises of repeat border patterns and detached motifs including an Agnus Dei, a butterfly and stylized flowers.
