Description

Sampler, cotton, embroidered with polychrome wools and silks, with a little silver metal thread in cross, Florentine, satin, back and tent stitch with some couched work. The sampler is partially backed and the edges are bound in pale blue silk. The sampler comprises detached motifs of geometric floral and all-over patterns.
