Band sampler, wool, embroidered with polychrome silks in cross, eyelet hole and squared stitch. The sampler comprises eight horizontal bands which are separated by narrow border patterns. The bands contain alphabets in both capitals and lower case lettering, heart and lozenge motifs, numerals and the inscription ' Louisa Bant Dock December 16th 1820'.
