Description

Linen sampler embroidered with polychrome silks in cross-stitch. All the edges are hemmed. The design consists of random spot motifs including a boat, animals, flowerpots, stylized sprays and an alphabet. The bottom of the sampler has the inscription 'Luigia Enzoli Lanno 1824' worked in green silk thread. The sampler is bordered by a simple blue and pink border.
