Description

Jasper, white with blue wash on the upper surface, and white reliefs. Diamond shaped with lapidary polished edges. A is decorated with a Nereid riding on a sea horse with a nude sea god holding a two-pronged fork behind her and another blowing a horn in front. B is decorated with on the left a putto holding a banner standing beside a covered vase beside which is a fluted column with a ball on top, and on the right, a dog and a putto holding a censer ?.
