Description

Jasper, white with pale blue wash on both sides, and white reliefs; Almond-shaped with lapidary polished edges. B is slightly concave underneath. Each plaque is decorated with a classical figure: A has a relief of a standing woman holding up a drape in her right arm and having a snake in her right (Priestess with Serpent or Hygia ?); B, a standing woman, probably Cleopatra, holding up a snake to her breast with her arm and small plant in front of her feet; C, a standing man with left hand on waist where there is a mask, and holding a staff in his right hand; D, a dancing woman facing to left, holding up a ball in her left hand.
