Four Plaques
Factory: Wedgwood
Jasper, white with pale blue dip on both sides, and white reliefs; Almond-shaped with lapidary polished edges. Each plaque is decorated with a classical figure: A, Cleopatra, a standing woman holding up a snake to her breast on her left arm; B, Calliope, a woman standing beside a pedestal on which she leans her left elbow with its hand up to her forehead; C, Terpsichore, a woman facing to left, holding up lyre, with her back to a pedestal; D, a woman standing facing to the right holding a jar.
