Factory: Wedgwood
Jasper, solid pale greyish-blue with white reliefs, and engine-turning on the lower part of the cup. The cup has deep curved sides and stands on a footring. The lower part of the exterior is striped. Above is a raised horizontal band forming the ground line for three putti and a chariot drawn by lions, two plants with a dragonfly above, a putto carving out his bow, two plants with a butterfly above. The circular saucer has curved sides and stands on a footring. The interior is decorated with an acanthus leaf border radiating from the depression in the centre. The exterior is decorated with engine-turned stripes.
