Part of Agricultural Devices Dinner Service
Factory: Wedgwood
Cream-coloured earthenware (Queen's ware), transfer-printed and painted in brown and grey enamels. Circular with narrow rim, curved sides and flat centre. In the centre, 'Agricultural Devices' design no. 30: a four-barred gate, a crook, basket, shears, and a pole with 'WB' at the top right end (not present on the design which has 'GE'). On the rim, a hammer and crossed tree branches, also wool carding combs.
