Cover, linen, embroidered in monochrome red silk in double running and hemstitch. Along the sides of the cover there is a three-inch band pattern formed by a waved stem motif from which springs a very stylized vase of flowers. At the ends the pattern doubles to form a slightly wider band. All around the cover there is a plaited bobbin lace edge.
