Description

Border, linen, embroidered in monochrome red silk thread in long-armed cross-stitch with added horizontal and vertical stitches; backstitches are used for added details. The border depicts a waved stem and vases of debased foliage and flowers motif. At both the top and bottom there is an alternating border pattern of birds and acorns. The bottom edge has a woven fringe.
