Folding fan, double leaf of greenish-white silk, decorated with an applied, circular, coloured mezzotint of two little girls and a cat in a landscape, embroidery in two shades of green, two shades of purple and cream silk, and gold sequins of two shapes. Sticks and guards of carved, pierced, silvered and gilt mother-of-pearl (16+2). Rivet set with clear pastes. The central print is flanked by horizontal sprays of flowers and leaves, entwined with sequins, with small groups of sequins below and borders of sequins on all sides. The top has a gold binding. The sticks and guards are pierced with flowers in baskets, flaming hearts and trophies.
