Double paper leaf painted in bodycolour and lettered overall. The front is illustrated with a scene of what is, most certainly, the Occupation of Tulon, by the British and Spanish in August 1793, including the harbour, ships and town and the reverse has an inscription: "Ocupacion de Tulon y Proclamacion de Luis XVII en 29 de Aousto 1793", giving details of each place or building, together with the ships of Britain and Spain.
The sticks and guards are of pierced and carved bone.
