Double paper leaf folding fan with ivory sticks and guards. A folding fan of double paper leaf; the front appears to be an 'Applied faces' fan, but lacks the actual painted ivory faces and the woven silk clothing - it is all painted. The reverse shows a painted scene of birds and flowers in a border. Sticks: pierced ivory, guards; carved ivory (16+2).
