Description

Goose feather fan; edges probably tipped with marabou down; the front decorated with painted gold fruit, flowers and leaves; the reverse is undecorated. The lower sticks (gorge) and guards are sandalwood, decorated on the front sticks and outer guards only with a painted clear and gold lacquer design. Brass alloy (?) rivet.
