Description

Canvas, embroidered with polychrome silks and silver metallic thread (tarnished) in tent stitch. Ruyi symbol at top. Repeating geometric pattern, central lozenges with some scrolled borders enclosing calligraphy. Case partially lined with red silk and stiffened with a thin board. Sewn-in end of blue cotton. Side edges and tops bound with blue and cream woven silk ribbon. Brown cord, flat, with two pink glass beads.
