Dark blue satin embroidered with silver metallic thread, couched and Pekinese stitch. Ruyi symbol at top, character for 'long life' alternating with another character, six characters in same arrangement on each side. Case lined with pale blue satin, tops and edges bound with blue and cream woven ribbon; sewn-in end of dark blue damask. Round cream cord with two knotted beads of silver metal thread.
