Plate 3 to The Pastorals of Virgil, edited by Dr. R.J. Thornton, from the Imitations of the Eclogues, Ambrose Philips, 1821. Of the 230 illustrations, Blake was responsible for designing and executing 4 engravings and 17 woodcuts illustrating Ambrose's Imitation of the Eclogues.
