"The sayings of the seven sages edited with an English version by Betty Radice, have been set in Griffo type; the Greek letter-forms used for the Delphic inscriptions and for the names of the sages on the half titles have been derived from an Athenian epigraph of the fifth century B.C. The edition has been printed on Magnani hand-made paper in 160 copes, ten of which are ad personam and one hundred and fifty numbered. Officina Bodoni Verona April MCMLXXVI."--Colophon. Museum has copy no. 130 Bound in quarter vellum with title in gilt on spine; patterned paper sides. Issued in slipcase.
