The Breviary of the Bibliothèque Royale is preserved in 2 v. (Mss. 9511, 9026) The paintings and miniatures are generally ascribed to Guillaume Vrelant and his atelier. The introd. includes chapters on Jean Tavernier (p. 144-150), Guillaume Vrelant (p. 150-153) L'atelier de Guillaume Vrelant (p. 153-154) and on Manuscrits avec images d'imitateurs de Vrelant (p. 175-177)
Museum has copy no. 320 (Nos. 271-900 on "papier vélin fort.").
Bound in red cloth.

"This edition is printed on Hollingsworth's rag paper and is limited to 180 copies ... numbered and signed by both author and editor. Twenty five copies contain an additional plate, are specially bound in half levant morocco, and numbered 1 to 25". Museum has copy no. 76. Bound in brown cloth, with red leather spine label gold stamped with title. Stamped: "Bound by S & S. London". Top edge of pages gilt.
