Description

Silver; with hammered surface and embossed and chased decoration and inscriptions: 'TO LESLEY' and 'FROM HER GODFATHER C.S. GORDON CLARK APRIL 1909'

Silver; the low circular bowl has bombé sides and a slightly everted rim. It is supported by a trumpet-shaped foot with six applied volutes at the top. The foot has an applied rope border set in from the edge, and is embossed and chased with a circle of fruiting vine. The lower part of the stem is embossed with ‘TO LESLEY’ and below is engraved ‘FROM HER GODFATHER C.S. GORDON CLARK APRIL 1909’ .
