Gold. The hoop formed as a double string with knots on the shoulders. Twin bezels, set with struck gold medallets: left obverse, head of Prince Albert of Saxe-Coburg, facing to the right; right obverse, Queen Victoria, facing to the left, inscribed 'VICTORIA REGINA'. Both reverses, royal crown and inscription 'MARRIED FEB 10 1840'.
